Hairston’s transgression may be minor, but he should have known better

Most likely, disciplinary action against P.J. Hairston for a misdemeanor marijuana arrest will involve extra work at practice or possible suspension for a game or two. That’s probably all it warrants, since Hairston’s transgressions are the legal equivalent of a jaywalking citation. From a basketball standpoint, however, Wednesday’s incident should raise concerns because of the lack of maturity Hairston showed. (Wilmington Star News)
