Florida State Reassigns Athletics Director Randy Spetman
Posted Jun 5, 2013
Florida State athletics director Randy Spetman has been moved to an advisory role in the athletics department and Vanessa Fuchs has been named interim athletics director. FSU President Eric Barron made the announcement late Wednesday afternoon. Spetman had been scheduled to present a five-year strategic plan for FSU athletics at Thursday's Board of Trustees workshop. That item has been removed from the agenda. Barron described the decision to reassign Spetman as "a mutual agreement."
