James W. Dean, Jr. Selected As UNC Provost

The UNC Board of Trustees approved the joint recommendation of Chancellor Holden Thorp and Chancellor-elect Carol Folt to select James “Jim” W. Dean, Jr. as UNC’s next Provost, effective July 1. Dean is the dean of the Kenan-Flagler Business School as well as a Sarah Graham Kenan Distinguished Scholar and Professor of Organizational Behavior. (Chapelboro.com)
