Winston-Salem State, Knicks great Earl 'The Pearl' Monroe puts highlights of his life on paper

Earl “The Pearl” Monroe is getting used to a new toy these days now that he’s a full-fledged author. “I’ve been using Twitter a little bit, and that’s different,” said the 67-year-old Monroe, a legendary former Winston-Salem State and New York Knicks player. Monroe has been promoting the release of his new book “Earl the Pearl, My Story” through radio and TV and also through social networking.
