Carolina Pulls Away From Elon

No. 1 North Carolina scored 14 runs after the fifth inning to claim its 30th win of the year Tuesday night at Elon (20-14), 15-3. The Tar Heels (30-2) overcame a 2-1 deficit entering the sixth inning and scored four runs in the sixth, one in the seventh, five in the eighth and four more in the ninth to blow the game open. (
