Native American tribes gather to honor Faith Hedgepeth


More than 1,000 people gathered Saturday to celebrate the memory of slain UNC junior Faith Danielle Hedgepeth at the 26th Annual Carolina Indian Circle Powwow at Fetzer Hall. Hedgepeth was found dead in her off-campus apartment on Sept. 7. Six months later, her death remains a mystery. (Daily Tar Heel)
