UNC bracing for impending blizzard, showdown with Kansas

North Carolina’s 78-71 victory against Villanova didn’t just help the Tar Heels advance to Sunday’s second round of the NCAA tournament. It also helped them avoid a potential travel nightmare getting out of town. According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm warning for the greater Kansas City area. The storm has the potential to produce accumulations of 6-10 inches. (Wilmington Star News)
