North Carolina managed to live by the 3-point shot in Friday’s 78-71 win over Villanova, despite needing a resuscitation after watching a 20-point lead evaporate when the long ball stopped falling. North Carolina finished 11-of-21 from behind the arc, marking the sixth time it has connected on 10 or more 3-pointers since going small. (Inside Carolina)
