Posted Mar 21, 2013
Devin Booker (who holds a UNC scholarship offer) is used to being the best basketball player on the court. Now he can say he's the best player in Mississippi. The Moss Point junior was named Thursday as Mississippi's Gatorade Player of the Year in boys basketball, after averaging 29.7 points per game for the Tigers this past season. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard also contributed eight rebounds and four assists per game, and carries a 3.81 grade-point average.
