Pepper's Pizza closes, Chapel Hill community mourns

When news broke this afternoon that Chapel Hill institution Pepper’s Pizza was closing, social media platforms erupted with thousands of tweets and comments. The initial reaction was one of shock. Many Chapel Hill residents and alumni had had no idea the restaurant was going to close, sending people into a flurry as they debated rushing to Pepper’s for one last slice. (Daily Tar Heel)
