Tiebreaking scenarios for final two first-round ACC tournament byes

Three teams are still in the running for the final two first-round ACC tournament byes as we head down the home stretch of the ACC basketball regular season. North Carolina and Virginia are currently tied for the third and fourth spots with 9-5 league records going into tonight’s action. N.C. State is a game behind in the standings at 8-6. Here is the official tiebreaking criteria as set by the ACC:
