No. 1 North Carolina (4-0) scored eight runs through the first four innings en route to a series-opening 11-2 win over Stony Brook (0-4) Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Junior Kent Emanuel improved to 2-0 on the year as he allowed two runs, one earned, over seven innings of work. Emanuel racked up eight strikeouts on the afternoon in his second start of the year.
