Cavaliers go for the season sweep of Tar Heels

Friday, February 15, 2013

Virginia players were in elementary school the last time the program was able to beat North Carolina twice in the regular season. Back then, coach Pete Gillen was patrolling the sidelines and Roger Mason Jr. was sinking 3s. Saturday, with coach Tony Bennett at the helm and a red-hot Joe Harris lighting it up from the perimeter, Virginia goes for its first series sweep over the Tar Heels since 2001-02.
