5-star DE Carl Lawson skips UNC visit, down to three schools
Posted Jan 28, 2013
It’s down to Tennessee, Auburn and Clemson for Carl Lawson, who is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect by ESPN. The 6-foot-2, 240-pounder thought about taking an official visit to North Carolina this weekend, but decided to focus on academics. “No, he didn’t go anywhere,” his father, Carl Lawson Sr., told the AJC. “He had to do the SAT, and he also has some schoolwork for next week, so that would tough to fit all that in.”
