4. North Carolina (13-6, 3-3): The Tar Heels blamed a lack of urgency for their slow start in a loss to N.C. State on Saturday. They credited a return of it for their second-half rally. Throughout their rocky non-conference slate, nights where there wasn’t enough of the stuff led to worrisome losses or lackluster wins. Rushes of it against UNLV and at Florida State led to encouraging wins. (Fayetteville Observer)
