Adam Greenberg Signs Minor League Deal With Orioles

Adam Greenberg captivated baseball fans with his quest for one more at-bat, which came at the end of last season with the Marlins. But he wants a serious chance to resume his major league career. He made his case in person to Orioles manager Buck Showalter at the winter meetings earlier this month, and Baltimore is giving him a chance. Greenberg, from Guilford, signed a minor league deal with the Orioles on Thursday. (Hartford Courant)
