Tar Heels get to the point, a lot, in easy nonconference victory


The pointing is part of a Tar Heel tradition that calls for a player who scores a basket to acknowledge the teammate that passed him the ball to set up the opportunity. It’s an exercise that was repeated often on this particular night, as UNC recorded assists on 30 of its 31 baskets on the way to a 78-55 win against East Tennessee State. (Wilmington Star News)
