Even without a dramatic finish, Casey Barth leaves his mark on the UNC record book

Of the school-record 66 field goals Casey Barth made during his career at North Carolina, he’ll best be remembered for his Thursday night game-winner at Virginia Tech in 2009 and the overtime kick that beat Tennessee in the Music City Bowl a year later. The moment he’ll best remember best isn’t nearly as dramatic. “I think honestly, it would be the N.C. State game this year,” Barth said.
