No. 1 Tar Heel Field Hockey Advances In NCAA Play

With goals from four different players, the top-ranked North Carolina field hockey team beat No. 11 Stanford 4-1 Saturday to advance to the second round of NCAA Tournament play. The Tar Heels (21-1) will return to the Henry Stadium turf on Sunday at 2 p.m. to take on No. 8 Old Dominion. The winner advances to field hockey's final four next weekend in Norfolk, Va. (
