Butch Davis winless at Lane Stadium

Butch Davis rebuilt Miami's football program. He took it from the depths of probation to national prominence. He signed the best players in the country, like future NFL superstars Edgerrin James, Ed Reed and Reggie Wayne. He did a lot in his six years as the Hurricanes' head coach, but even with all that talent, he never won a game at Lane Stadium. (Lynchburg News & Advance)
