Many happy returns for Tar Heels

Monday, October 29, 2012

Giovani Bernard cried on the sidelines after the return and still was shaking when he went into the postgame news conference. “This game will go down in the record books for me, not just cause of the punt return but because of the emotions of the game,” said Bernard, who also led the team in rushing (23 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns) and receiving (eight catches, 95 yards).
