Heels fumble away shot at upset

UNC wide receiver grabbed running back on the sideline and saw tears welling up in his eyes after his momentum-changing fumble Saturday near the goal line. Houston's mistake cost North Carolina a shot at a tying touchdown in the third quarter. Four minutes, 53 seconds later, an interception of a tipped ball set up a touchdown by 17th-ranked Virginia Tech as the Tar Heels fell 17-10 at Lane Stadium. (Raleigh News & Observer)
