WR Marquez North undergoes season-ending surgery
Posted Oct 25, 2012
Mallard Creek receiver Marquez North, a preseason All-American, will miss the remainder of the season after surgery on his shoulder this week, Mallard Creek coach Mike Palmieri told the Observer Wednesday night. North informed Palmieri that he would be having surgery on Sunday. Palmieri said it’s a lingering issue with North’s shoulder and not something that happened in a recent game. North visited Florida and Tennessee this month. He has offers from both schools as well as about 20 other SEC, ACC and Big 10 schools.
