NCAA denies UNC travel waiver

North Carolina is supposed to leave for its first regular-season road trip in less than a month. But so far, it doesn't have tickets booked. Explains ESPN.com's Andy Katz: According to UNC coach Roy Williams, the NCAA will not waive the rule that prevents a team from traveling to a road game more than 48 hours before tipoff. (ESPN.com)
