UNC hands Miami its first ACC loss

Saturday, October 13, 2012

North Carolina has adjusted well to its role of spoiler. The ineligible Tar Heels can't win the Coastal Division. They can't play in the ACC championship game. But they sure can crash a party. North Carolina hung on to beat Miami 18-14 on Saturday, earning its first road win of the season and first under coach Larry Fedora. Running back Giovani Bernard had another all-star performance.
