Roy Williams' Tumor Non-Cancerous

UNC men's basketball coach Roy Williams had a biopsy of the tumor on his left kidney Wednesday at UNC Hospitals. The results of the biopsy indicate it is an oncocytoma, a non-cancerous tumor. Williams had surgery to remove a tumor from his right kidney on September19th, which was also an oncocytoma. As a result of the biopsy, Coach Williams will not require surgery on the left kidney.
