Notre Dame hasn't set ACC jump date in 'preliminary' talks

Notre Dame may not be sure of when it will commence life in the ACC, but it indeed has broached the idea of an early departure from the Big East. Big East commissioner Mike Aresco told the Tribune on Thursday that talks with Notre Dame are "very preliminary" and not to be confused with negotiations that will spur the school's jump to the ACC.
