Tar Heels set records in win over Vandals

Sunday, September 30, 2012

Of the 32,000 fans who braved the constant rain Saturday at Kenan Stadium, only a small percentage still were around in the fourth quarter. While they may not have been comfortable, at least everyone who stayed saw history being made. North Carolina beat Idaho 66-0, recording the most points and the biggest margin of victory in the 122 seasons of Tar Heel football. (Durham Herald-Sun)
