ECU feels UNC's pressure

One sequence for East Carolina in the third quarter in Chapel Hill on Saturday proved fatal for the Pirates and vital for the host North Carolina Tar Heels. Clinging to a four-point lead at the intermission, UNC’s bang-bang, two-touchdown sequence in a matter of three minutes imploded the Pirates’ chances, and the Tar Heels cruised to victory at Kenan Stadium, 27-6.
