UNC will be without RB Bernard again Saturday vs Louisville

UNC coach Larry Fedora said that star running back Giovani Bernard was participating in practice and “felt fine.” Apparently that was either wishful thinking or Bernard’s aching left knee started acting up again between then and now. Because when the Tar Heels got on the plane Friday for the trip to Kentucky – where they play 19th-ranked Louisville on Saturday – the 5-foot-10, 205-pound sophomore wasn’t with the team.
