Preseason Poll: Tar Heel Golfers Are #6 In Nation

The UNC women’s golf team is coming off a top-10 finish in last year’s NCAA Championships—and according to one poll, Carolina could finish even better this year. The Tar Heel women are ranked #6 in this year’s Golf World/National Golf Coaches Association preseason poll—one spot behind #5 Duke. Duke and Carolina are the only two ACC teams in the top 10—in fact they’re the only two top 10 teams not in the Pac-12 or the SEC. (Chapelboro.com)
