Mets' Matt Harvey beginning to understand keys to success

Matt Harvey whisked through the minors with a voice in his ear. The voice belonged to Don Carman, a former big-league pitcher who serves as a sports psychologist employed by Harvey’s agent, Scott Boras. Carman preached simplicity on the mound, instructing Harvey to winnow his focus onto each pitch. (Newark Star-Ledger)
