Woody Durham selected for Distinguished Service in Sports award

Four men with area ties involving an array of sports will be honored as recipients of Distinguished Service in Sports awards next month. The Alamance County Sports Development Council announced that the honorees are long-time broadcaster Woody Durham, former recreation coach Douglas Moore Sr., ex-major leaguer Floyd Wicker and retired football coach Shirley “Red” Wilson.
