Columbus Crew players players move on, but don’t forget Kirk Urso

The Crew returned to the field last night after more than a week of mourning Kirk Urso, its 22-year-old midfielder whose death caused an outpouring of grief throughout the U.S. soccer community. Urso collapsed at a Columbus bar in the early morning of Aug. 5. He was carried out by a bouncer, set against a tree and eventually taken by ambulance to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
