UNC landed defensive end Marquis Haynes, who could play the ‘bandit’ position in Larry Fedora’s new defense. UNC basketball coach Roy Williams is worried that the class of 2016 recruits don’t know the NCAA’s new eligibility standards beginning that year. Offensive guard Tyrone Crowder lists the Tigers as one of his top four choices. The NCAA is reviewing the eligibility of N.C. State hoops freshman Rodney Purvis, and as a result, he couldn’t travel to Spain with the team.
