UNC men's soccer finally breaks through
Posted Oct 12, 2007
The double-header ticket promised games between the Duke and North Carolina women's and men's soccer teams. It didn't promise overtime, but with the Duke and UNC men involved, it was practically a given. In the 103rd minute, Carolina's Ryan Adeleye poked the ball into the net off a rebound, scoring the first offensive goal in the series in four games and giving UNC a much-needed 1-0 victory over Duke.
