Travis Stephenson was a walk-on for UNC’s 1993 NCAA national title basketball team coached by Dean Smith. More than two decades later Stephenson, 42, is a member of the crew on the Greenville-based Double B boat owned by Harry Smith and captained by Daniel Spencer.
