Michael Morin Named NCBWA Stopper Of The Year Finalist

Junior closer Michael Morin was named one of five finalists for the 2012 NCBWA Stopper of the Year award Tuesday. Morin finished the year with a 6-4 record, 1.40 ERA and a UNC single season record of 19 saves. Morin earned first team All-America and first team All-ACC honors this season while posting a 6-4 record with 19 saves. He has a 1.40 earned run average and 55 strikeouts over 58 innings.
