Tar Heels Fall to Miami

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Miami continued its recent dominance of North Carolina in snapping the Tar Heels' 14-game winning streak with a 5-3 victory at the ACC Tournament on Thursday. The Hurricanes have won 10 of their last 11 contests against UNC. Due to the quirkiness of the ACC Tournament format, Saturday’s grudge match with N.C. State could possibly end up as a meaningless game for the Tar Heels. (Inside Carolina)
