UNC No. 8 in most recent Directors’ Cup standings

North Carolina is ranked No. 8 in the latest Directors’ Cup standings, which were released on Thursday. The Directors’ Cup measures the overall excellence of NCAA Division I collegiate athletic programs. The Tar Heels are the second-highest ACC team in the rankings, behind Florida State, which is No. 4. Stanford is ranked No. 1, followed by Ohio State and Penn State. (Raleigh News & Observer)
