No. 3 Carolina Drops Opener At No. 9 Miami, 8-0


No. 3 North Carolina was held to six hits in an 8-0 setback at No. 9 Miami Friday night in Coral Gables, Fla. The Tar Heels fall to 23-7 on the year and into a tie with the Hurricanes atop the ACC Coastal division standings at 9-4. The shutout is the second of the season suffered by the Tar Heels.
