Former UNC football players relieved, frustrated with NCAA ruling

Some former UNC football players were frustrated by the NCAA’s ruling Monday, but all were relieved the 21-month investigation was over. The NCAA gave UNC a one-year bowl ban and took away 15 scholarships over a three-year period as a result of the nine major violations. “Finally, the university can move on,” said Green Bay Packers tight end Ryan Taylor, who graduated from UNC in 2010.
