Tar Heel Golfers Finish Fourth at the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Championship


North Carolina finished in fourth place at the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Championship. After holding a one-stroke lead after the second round, the Tar Heels shot two-over par 290 to finish at six-over 870. Louisville who started one-stoke off the lead shot a nine-under 279, behind the play of tournament champion Derek Fathauer, to finish the tournament at four-under 860 and win by three strokes.
