Kyle Seager doing everything to earn a roster spot


If Kyle Seager earns a roster spot with the Mariners this spring, it might have to be in a utility role, which is why he's worked at third, second and now even some first base in the opening weeks of camp. Seager, 24, is one of those youngsters who'll happily do anything the Mariners ask. Just don't expect him to take the mound. (MLB.com)
