Tar Heels Set For Baseball Season Opener

No. 3 North Carolina will open its 2012 season Friday when the Tar Heels welcome in Atlantic 10 foe Xavier for a three-game series. Carolina is coming off its fifth College World Series appearance in the last six years and will look to begin the march towards another berth. The Tar Heels return 18 letterwinners from a year ago, including five position players that started and a pair of starting pitchers. (Tar Heel Blue)
