No. 3 North Carolina: An easy road to San Antonio

Wednesday, November 07, 2007

North Carolina's Roy Williams says last year's overtime defeat to Georgetown in the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight -- a game in which the Tar Heels had an 11-point lead midway through the second half -- will be among one of the most painful losses of his coaching career. While he can't get it back, Williams can take solace in the fact that almost everyone from that game will be returning and have a chance to make amends this season. (Sporting News)
