Tourney loss drives North Carolina

The Tar Heels are experienced and talented, just like the 2006-07 squad that made it to the Elite Eight and was within minutes of the school's 17th trip to the Final Four. But mistakes were made down the stretch by the ACC regular-season and tournament champions. Not even an induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame this summer has erased the fumes of the Georgetown loss from Williams. He and his team are hungry.
