UNC interested in former GT commit Junior Gnonkonde
Posted Jan 24, 2012
Former Georgia Tech commitment Junior Gnonkonde will take an official visit to UCF this upcoming weekend. The Lakeland (Ga.) Lanier County defensive end committed to the Yellow Jackets last February, but he had his scholarship revoked Friday because Georgia Tech said his test scores were too low. He also has drawn interest from Louisiana Tech, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia during the past week. He also plans to visit North Carolina, but he did not have a date set.
