Heels Get Defensive In Exhibition Rout

No. 1 North Carolina’s defensive tenacity proved too tough for Lenoir-Rhyne on Friday night at the Smith Center, as the Tar Heels held the Bears to 31 percent shooting in a 107-52 exhibition victory. Head coach Roy Williams has placed an added emphasis on defensive effort this preseason, and the results have been evident through two exhibition contests.
