Recap: NC State vs. North Carolina


Jamelle Eugene carried the ball 32 times for 159 yards and three touchdowns to lead the NC State Wolfpack to a 31-27 win over the UNC Tar Heels at Carter- Finley Stadium. The Tar Heels were led by their defense which converted two interceptions into touchdowns. Quarterback T. J. Yates paced the UNC offense completing 22-of-42 pass attempts for 241 yards, but also threw two interceptions in the loss. (Charlotte Observer)
